| Description: | In February 2010, the eighth edition of the WENGER PATAGONIAN EXPEDITION
RACE will take place in Chilean Patagonia. We will cross the mythical
Tierra Del Fuego, from the infinite steppes to the sub-Antarctic woods.
We will search for a new way to cross the amazing white barrier of the
Cordillera Darwin.
But, we wont stop there. We will go farther south to a latitude never
before reached in an adventure race. We will cross the legendary Beagle
Channel and penetrate the archipelagos area which was once occupied by
the aboriginal tribe at the bottom of the world, the Yaganes.
It will be ten days of adventure and exploration through an odyssey of
more than 600km across a magic and wild territory. This will be a
challenging and unforgettable adventure. |
